Black-chinned Hummingbird

This is a female Black-chinned hummer. They are commonly found during the spring/summer breeding season throughout Arizona and New Mexico as well as parts of some neighboring states. They also live year-round and winter in Mexico, but last winter I did have some hanging around.

I have the news on in the background and just heard that my senator, John McCain, will vote against the awful proposed healthcare bill.  We need one more vote...
