A real privilege today to present an award to this fabulous CEO - Claire Horton of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home - at the prestigious Institute of Directors UK Awards in London.

Claire was named top third sector CEO - the honour I received last year at this event - so it was especially lovely, as a member of the judging panel, to hand over the gong for 2017 to such an awesome female leader. Even better - she then went on to scoop the overall award too! What a woman!

So many fabulous finalists - including a great turnout from Scotland. Great leaders, excelling in their fields.
