Early autumn in Lickey Woods

On the 30th August I posted a blip of a view in Lickey Woods, declaring that I would repeat it at regular intervals through the autumn and winter to see how different it looks through the seasons.

A month later, this is the second in the series. Apart from the fact that someone has closed the gate it hasn't changed much yet. There are some signs of autumn in the leaves and the vegetation is a little sparser. Sadly I don't think it is going to be a particularly colourful autumn this year.
