HAPPY AUTUMNAL EQUINOX!

The horse chestnuts in front our Hôtel de Ville are preparing to bomb pedestrians with their "bumper" crop!

There are more conkers on these trees this year than the last five years put together - am wondering if this doesn't bode for a wicked winter?

I kind of hope so - we only had about three snowflakes last year.
