Quilled Bride

My Mum gave this to my sister as an early wedding gift from the two of us.

When I was over staying in Westray last summer, my Mum shows me an on-line photo of this quilled bride. I had never attempted a project of that magnitude before but what Mum wants, Mum gets. Or we at least severely injure ourselves in the attempt to deliver!

Being in Westray was actually probably the best place to be for be to tackle a project of this size.

When it was finished, I left it with Mum & Dad and Mum had Edwin of the Wheeling Steen Gallery mount and frame it.

I’m packed & ready. Just have to put my iPad and laptop in my backpack and I’m ready to go in the morning.
