Usually duties are carried out on the dog sofa but today they are practicing long distance observation.

Dave isn't joining in because he feels a bit sorry for himself after being caught head and shoulders deep in a sack of dog kibble. He didn't even stir when I was preparing dinner. The smells emanating from his overfull belly are not pleasant.
