Mushrooms On The Road Side ... (2)

A lovely day, hardly wind an in this part of the country no rain, to take the bike for a forest ride. There was serious news about an alarming increase in the number of (fatal) accidents involving (older) cyclists. I've bought a bicycle helmet, because my previous helmet - from 1998 - didn't meet the requirements anymore.

I found this mushroom on the side of one of the cycle paths through the Kralingse Bos. The picture was taken against the bright sunlight and actually lent itself best for a black and white version.
