Take Mac to the vets for his annual jabs. Leave quite disturbed. While we were in the waiting room a woman and her child walked in with a bag with two cute black kittens in it. Her neighbours have moved away and left the kittens behind & she was told by the NSPCA to bring them to the vets. The vets rejected them ... final words were "we're only able to take injured animals". Woman walks out - angry and upset, shouting "fine" and swinging the bag of cats as she leaves. The people left in the waiting room were all shocked and scared ... what was she going to those poor kittens? Thankfully one of the other customers ran out after her, I don't know what happened, because I took Mac in to see the vet, but when I came out the kittens had been taken in by the vets. Phew! All quite distressing.

Alasdair comes up in the evening and we go out for a meal and talk about photography and Mum.
