Last chance!
Back Blip
Sunday lunchtime was spent in Duthie Park in Aberdeen, giving Ollie a last chance for a good run about and to do the necessary (which I cleared up!) before the 6 hour ferry trip home.
It's always sad to leave Shelagh's. We've been friends for 40 years, through thick and thin, but hopefully we'll get down to see her again before Christmas.
The ferry back to Kirkwall was a bit bouncy but we managed a meal on board, fish and chips, it's traditional, and had a few hours sleep too before we docked at 11pm. We've had an excellent holiday and great fun. Seen lots of new places and more narrow gauge railways than I ever knew existed! And Mike tells me he knows of plenty more . . . !
