Canary Wharf

After a long but uneventful flight back from San Francisco (with a much appreciated and long rest break), we had a terrific view of London before landing at Heathrow. I only had time for a few quick snaps. This is the Canary Wharf and Millwall Dock area on the Isle of Dogs, east London. It's an area I've never explored. I must fix that soon.

It was good to be home. I enjoyed a walk in the nearby woods before a heavy rain storm came. Getting some fresh air after a long flight is really important for me when I can. I found a geocache which made me happy after yesterday's 'did not find' in San Francisco. The evening was spent cosy on the sofa watching the movie 'Lion'. Such a terrific story and I cried buckets!
