Now here's someone with taste; a classic Clockwork Orange still in use and re-purposed as an everyday town bike. In fact, it even has a touch of the origins of mountain biking about it with those Californian cruiser style bars.

Seeing it locked up in town this morning made me nostalgic for my early MTB days, a GT Bravado was my bike of choice that was replaced with a GT Zaskar, which was as uncomfortable as hell because the ally tube was so rigid. The Bravado lives on though as I converted it for touring and rode round most of the UK on it twenty years ago and now it's my brother-in-laws everyday ride over in Ireland.

You can't keep a good MTB down!
