View from Wray Castle

My dad persuaded us to come and try out the new bike route along the banks of Windermere to Wray Castle. It was recently resurfaced and is supposed to be fantastic. So we loaded up the bikes on his car, took the ferry to the far side and parked up.

My 5 year old hasn't cycled since he came off in August so it took a while to get his confidence back... That plus the fact the route has some pretty challenging hills for novice/young riders meant that it took a lot longer than it should!

Eventually we made it to the castle just as they were closing early for a function... Oh well just had time for coffee in the cafe with some friends and some very quick photos.
