Ready for take off!!

We went down to Strichen Park with the dogs for a walk this rather pleasant morning.
The swans and their family were on the grass beside the lake and quite a few were stretching their wings.
They then went into the water and tried flying as you can see in the extra.
I think this young swan is saying " I'm ready for it Mum, I'm ready"
Pretty amazing I think.
( with "action shots" you never really know what you have captured until you load them on to the computer/iPad and I think this adds to the fun, although sometimes it is so disappointing)
