Martin Parr Exhibition

I went into Oxford this morning to go and see the Martin Parr exhibition which is part of the Photo Oxford event that predominantly finishes tomorrow (the Martin Parr exhibition carries on into early October).

He was commissioned by the University to photograph life at the University over a period of 2 years. There are some very good, candid pictures very much in his humorous style, capturing some interesting moments that us outside would never know about.

If you can get there, it is well worth it.

As a great little addition to the morning, I ran into an Oxford based photographer who I met once before in Hobbycraft in Oxford. She was there with a friend from the Oxford Photographic Society. We had a great little chat amongst us about the exhibition and photography in general.
