Countryside Pub

I took my friend out to lunch at a countryside 400 year old pub today. 'The Fox runs Free' in the superb village of Charlton, West Sussex.
Apparently the first English Women's Institute meeting was held here on November 9th 1915.
And, during his reign from 1689 - 1702 William III of England often visited the pub with his hunting party for refreshments!
