Ramshaw Rocks

Mary (pictured here) and I thought we'd have a look at Ramshaw Rocks and hoped to find some climbing, but the rock was damp and green and probably better on a hot summer's day.  However, we tried a route, a VDiff that looked ok from the bottom, haha... it wasn't.  After the first few moves I was faced with no alternative but a fist jam, which was a good fit, but I wasn't convinced that it would hold with the surrounding damp green so escaped off to the side.  But I haven't lead anything for two weeks and confidence was low.

Then we moved round to the back of the rocks and had a bit of fun walking up the slabs, but not quite so easily down - see extras!  In spite of the forecast being dry all day, we ended up in the cloud and so it was wet. But we're wiser about the venue now and will probably give it a miss in the future.
