Shooting the moon

There was a beautiful moon tonight. This photograph was a bit of an experiment. Every other attempt that I'd made to photograph the moon had produced a featureless white blob, so I resorted to the internet for help. Photography Life recommended F11, 100 ISO and 1/250th second. This was the result.
