40th reunion

After a trip to the vet with my 92 year old aunt ( with her cat!); a visit to my mother and cutting the grass and weeding, we went out.

We were meeting in Tapa in Leith for my 40th anniversary gathering. There were 23 of us at the start of the interpreting course and 17 graduated. So a small group.

Sadly a few have passed away and a few could not make it to Edinburgh. Some of our former lecturers also joined us but we had colleagues from London, north-east England and Germany.

Our career paths are varied but we are bonded by the 4 years at Herriot-Watt. An enjoyable evening, picking up so quickly since we last met, in the case of some 10 years ago.

May make the next gathering in 5 years time!
