Vis-easy peasy
The South Sudanese embassy remains remarkably simple to deal with compared to embassies and visa offices I've run up against in other places. Paperwork for the upcoming trip collected seamlessly.
The building that houses the embassy here in Marylebone is pretty ugly; it having moved from its former home in Fitzrovia. Perhaps this is another sign of South Sudan's economic crisis. This part of London along Edgware Road is interesting and vibrant and there were plenty of colourful characters milling about as we had planning meetings in a nearby cafe.
