Pumpkinfest 2017
We went down to South Lyon, Michigan, to see our niece Sophie march in the parade. After waiting and waiting, we almost missed her. All I got was her profile as she marched past. She wasn't in the same place as she was last year.
The weather was hot. A new record for our area. It reached 94F (32C). There were big pumpkins (the big one is 1128 lbs.!), games for the kids to play, diving dogs, a master carver, and bounce houses.
We had fun, and Merrick got a big bagful of candy.
It is 11:00 p.m., and my Sunday School lesson isn't done. For shame...for shame. C U tomorrow.
