early morning in the city..

Several friends and I decided to get out before dawn this morning...I know daylight saving and all.. ..we did and had the bonus of a fog. It was quite surreal walking around the inner city...it was silent!!!! No traffic, no people, nothing. It didn't even come slowly to life. We did enjoy some of the tableaux where people had left suddenly . These, in places ,are still present. One thing that hit me was that mother nature is still just getting on. The beautiful trees are flowering and coming into fresh new leaves. Even in what was one of the busiest places- 'The Strip' (nightclubs/bars)- had a family of Paradise ducks with 3 ducklings wandering across paths and road.
This is one of the bridges over the River Avon that wanders through the inner city. I took this before the street lights had been turned off. The red/orange lights reflecting under the bridge were an amazing sight.
