Braided river

The water in the Waimakariri River is an ugly color at the moment as a result of all the rain we've had over the past few weeks. So it's not very picturesque, but I like the view of it's many channels as we flew over today.

And the wild river surrounded by very tamed land makes for an interesting contrast.
