A wonderful day....

was held up the coast.  Two of our sons, and the oldest son's wife,were home for the weekend.  We didn't even have to pack a lunch as one of Teach's workmates dropped off a pie and muffins for us.  We put the kayaks on the roof of Teach's car and travelled up the coast for half an hour before parking up and putting them into the water.  We took the rods with us and sent a couple of people off in the kayaks to try their luck while Teach baited the long line.  Lloyd came back with two small kahawai which we smoked when we got home.  Teach took the kayak out and set the long line and then brought it back in with 5 good sized snapper.  It was a great day!
