Brooklyn Bridge

This morning we went on the Staten Island ferry which sails past the Statue of Liberty. About 90% of the passengers were tourists and we all rushed off when it docked and got straight back on and came back to Manhattan. After getting back we walked along the bank of the East river until we reached the Brooklyn bridge and then climbed up and walked across the bridge. We hurried back across the bridge as the sky was darkening and sure enough the heavens opened before we got back. It was an incredible storm but we managed to get underneath a building and out of it as the roads turned to rivers. The Manhattan Bridge is in the background.
