Golden Wedding

I suppose it is a sign of age that one's friends are beginning to celebrate their Golden Weddings (those that are still married, of course).

We lived next door to Annie & Dougie in Tillietudlem from 1983 until they moved to Lanark around 1990.  We have been to stay with them in their house in France several times and in Newton Mearns where they now live.  They come up to Argyll from time to time and we also meet up when we can. 

They held a lovely little party at the House for An Art Lover in Glasgow , which was a little difficult to get to because of the Old Firm game being held within cheering distance but it was a most enjoyable afternoon and long may they continue to enjoy a very health and active retirement.
