New House
After a lively Friday night, we woke up in our friend Andy's yellow, 3 storey mews property in Bristol. It is crying out for tens of thousands to be spent on it . He has a new roof and has had all the oak floors replaced but there is much more to be done. You can see Cabot Tower to the right from his middle and top floor windows. If the house opposite wasn't there. you would have a view of IKB's suspension bridge.
Then we drove over the 2nd Severn crossing and into Wales see my sister in her brand new Redrow house.
You could not get two houses so dissimilar! Jenny's house beautiful - I was very envious of the kitchen/family room but the house is not in Devizes and she has mixed feelings still.
The point of Jenny's move is to be near her grandchildren and 2 of her children. In the afternoon, they visited and I understand her reasons for the move.
Her younger grandson has had yet another stay in hospital. It hasn't been an easy start for him nor his first time parents.
Jen's cat, Bella, took a total of 20 minutes to work out her new home. Amazing.
Extra is a colouful snap of Bristol
