Ammonites
Visited Corfe Castle and then went on to Kimmeridge Bay. The bay isn't very pretty but the fossils are amazing. This ammonite was huge and was on a flat area of rock on the beach. There were so many to look at. I found a fossil in a piece of slate, almost the first piece I picked up.
There's lots of erosion in the bay - you could hear soil and rocks falling down and the geology students surveying the cliffs were all in hard hats.
