1950 David Brown 25

Daylight saving started today. Explained to the boys about time and that we have just changed the clocks; there isn't actually any more daylight. Just that there is more after work. I didn't say that we could achieve the same end by everyone agreeing to start and finish work an hour earlier.

Anyway, I took a late afternoon run today, and got some good pictures of a putangitangi pair with their ducklings. Back home and the lads wanted to play on their scooters on the road. Went with them and took the Pentax with the long lens and got this delightful shot of two lads on a tractor which hasn't moved in some years.

EDIT: I rushed the posting of this blip as S was serving the roast dinner. Enjoyed by us all. A lovely local red (Cab Franc and Malbec; named Back Paddock). Forgot to say to look at this large; makes it special.
