garlic chives

A wet day. 

I slept in again - the lie-ins are fab! - and wandered down to the market just in time before they all packed up.

This afternoon I got to grips with the lined curtains I had, perhaps rashly agreed to make for herself. The existing curtains are a manky shade of mould with a smell to match so who could blame her for wanting to change them.
We've gone for gold crushed velvet, but I have never made lined curtains or worked with velvet of any kind before, so was a bit nervous. 
But with the help of google I worked it out and made the first of the four pieces and it wasn't too hard at all.
