Work horses

At the Chiltern Open Air Museum today to see English Shire Horses at work. There were 5 horses working, two ploughing, today's blip, two disc harrowing and one spring time cultivating.

The team looking after the horses were all Irish and were very enthusiastically explaining how horses did the field work before tractors.
