XOD Fleet

Cowes Week - usually during the first full week of August is a real spectacle, with over 800 boats taking part.  In the past I have sailed in various classes and always had a great time.

The XOD Fleet is the largest at Cowes Week numbering between 50 - 110 boats.  They are made of wood and are a one design (so all boats are the same)  some date back to the 1920s.  Racing is fierce and protest a regular occurrence!

Photographing from the water has its challenges, equipment getting wet, movement etc.  but can be extremely rewarding.
