Lochore Country Park

This afternoon we had a very pleasant walk with Rotary friends and partners at Lochore Country Park walking round the circular route. I walked with an elderly ex policeman who was brought up and worked in this area and he told me about all the coal pits there had been at one time - apparently there is a farm under the water lost when this area was all flooded.

I had fun watching a group of large Newfoundlands swimming - this particular one seemed to prefer to be in the inflatable and left the humans in the water !

I didn't expect to come across a group of cattle ruminating by the water's edge. ( extra).
