Kirkwall

We took a short excursion to the island of Shapinsay We thought we would have lunch and come right back. Everything was closed (Sunday, and the end of the season). A walk (very windy) and quick return. There was an American on the ferry who "collects" islands. This was another one to check off. Our goal to play golf this morning was also foiled. When we arrived at the Orkney Golf Course, there was only an honesty box... no one to rent clubs. The sign said if you need clubs, "call Chris, but NOT on weekends".
