Be-yew-tiful

Dandylion (aka Amy) took a photo as I cycled between these yews. This cemetery has been the scene of many a discussion over the years, about cycling trips, life events and Portuguese pastries (bakery nearby).

We'd met for a coffee, which was a rare incidence of human contact as I've holed myself up for most of the weekend to complete 'life admin'. This included dropping off a bag of stuff at the charity shop and hiding from my old hairdresser, who was in there, and who would have clocked that I am sporting a fairly recent cut. Why does human behaviour lend itself to such cowardly behaviour around ex-hairdressers.

The day was mostly productive but towards the end of it my pedal crank arm did come off as I was cycling. In life it is always 2 steps forward, 1.9 steps back.

Amy and I enjoy hanging out in coffee shops. She saved herself from falling into an existence among the crack dens of Liverpool by becoming a leading authority on orchids and the illegal wildlife trade.
