Just Standing Around
We went back over to the art festival today to help out a friend pack up as this was the final day.
Passing by the salt marsh there wasn't a whole lot going on. I didn't see any spoonbills and the few alligators I did see were out a ways.
So anyway I did stop to grab a quick blip of this anhinga that was spending the afternoon standing on some rocks at the edge of the marsh.
I'm not sure it this is a female or a juvenile.
Either way, they are very interesting birds with a unique style of fishing.
Also looks like we will receive minimal if any effects from hurricane Maria which is great news!
Unfortunately, Oct. is traditionally the most active month for storms so we still have to get through that.
