Flooding
In Rosyth.
Many years ago, a flood on this stretch of road was a very common occurence whenever there was more than a little rain. The drainage has been sorted for a long time until this most recent bout of heavy rain.
The water level had gone down a little by the time I got there to shoot the image set this one is from, but still there were a few cars stranded on the road because they'd gone too fast through the flood and managed to splash water up into their electrical systems.
Some vehicles were transiting the flood quite easily, mostly diesels and mostly higher-off-the-ground types, but some petrol engined folks were taking it carefully enough through to get past it unscathed.
And then there were the occasional drivers who thought it was fun to go tearing through fast to make big splashes - I just hope they don't have too many problems later due to low IR on their electrics.
Number plates obscured to protect the splashers ;)
