Solace Day 2

Today we turned off the Trent & Mersey Canal and onto the Coventry Canal at Fradley Junction. We needed to call in at a boatyard at Streethay to see if they could give our engine it's 100 hr service on Friday.

A very pleasant day on the canals and the blip shows the sort of countryside we pass through. as well as the industrial site at Armitage where toilets are piled high. The menfolk managed to see a kingfisher whilst I was below deck making their bacon butties. The Man got a good shot of it and The Mate stopped the boat to let me walk back and look for it. Yes, I did find a kingfisher, see Extras, just not the same one!
And I could have done without the rude message!
