Heathrow excess

Airports are funny places at the best of times. Heathrow is one of the busiest with people from all over the world passing through. One thing that stuck me today was the large amount of excess on display. This started with the car hire company which was offering an assortment of Aston Martins, Porsche, Ferrari and for the budget conscious... an Audi R8. The duty free area of the airport offers all the expensive designer names and then I found this whisky. It was not the most expensive they had on offer but they had already sold three! Who are these people buying all this stuff? Do they know what they are missing as I eat my Tesco ham and cheese sandwich from Yate. Luxury!
