Day #4

Our evening mezze at the local taverna nd booked last evening when it was full to bursting. Tonight it was empty except for us and one other couple.

We learnt it is an enterprise run by two brothers and a sister, each contributing a different expertise but all sharing a love of cooking and different Cypriot traditional recipes. Each serving had a unique twist to it but using well known foods. We had 11 dishes altogether....

Earlier in the day we took an open top bus tour of Larnaca. One stop gave us the chance to walk on the famous salt flats....must go back and visit the Memorial Park for more.

On the drive home we stopped at MacKenzie Beach and had an icecream.

The days are going very quickly...!
