Saturday Antics

A glorious September morning.  After breakfast we took the short journey to Emsworth and walked along the seafront.  It was busy with walkers, joggers and sailors.  We stopped to watch this beautiful little sailing boat go out to sea.  Then after a walk along the quay, were able to watch the start of the sailing club's Saturday racing. Andy enjoyed telling us about all the different boats going out and the what each sound of the horn indicated.  In the afternoon we popped over to visit Andy's Mum and share some birthday cake with her - it was her 88th birthday on Friday.  In the evening we tried the local Indian restaurant for a take-away.  We weren't very impressed - it was all rather bland.  We'll have to try somewhere else next time.
