A very wet morning so the proposed game of golf was not an option!

A trip to Broughty Ferry, coffee in a lovely cafe in Newport and after the rain eased a bit a walk in the Barnhill Rock Garden and that was the morning gone!

BF has the most incredible collection of charity shops and think we were in them all looking for a couple of the Shetland series by Anne Cleeves ..... no joy but I did see a Winnie the Pooh dumped in a wire basket. That's no place to keep such an important bear so I bought him for 50p.         

AA Milne's books are just full of the most wonderful words .... this little quote is one of my favourites .... 'If the person  you are talking to does not appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear.'
