Fall

This is week 38 of my art journal. The prompt is 'Fall'
I loved this quote from John Burroughs, who was an American naturalist and nature essayist, active in the U.S. conservation movement 'How beautifully leaves grow old. How full of light and color are their last days'
It was a lovely early autumn day today and the light shone through my neighbour's acer tree against a beautiful blue sky. I have tried to capture the light through the leaves with inktense pencils and acrylic paint.
