On Track

A good Monday.

Running around all morning with last minute stuff to be done and then hitting the road at lunchtime.

The travel was all very straightforward. Turkish Airlines left Edinburgh a few minutes early and - strangely enough - arrived a few minutes early too. Even the major stress point - passport control at Atatürk - took only 15 minutes.

I took a wee stroll once I'd checked in at the guesthouse and as the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya are only 100m from here - they're the Blip and the Extra. Tourist free at 23:45!

OK, it's after midnight here and breakfast is at 8:00 - on the terrace looking out over the Bosphorus. I predict hard boiled eggs, white cheese, olives, cucumber, tomato and fruit.
