Got round to doing some loft boards at last - surprisingly time consuming! Maybe I'm just too much of a perfectionist, of course. Well, that's one possibility.
Finally finished with 'I Know Who You Are' - the last couple of episodes have been quite OK - and booger me, but instead of a grand finale and all is revealed, they bliddy well slapped in another murder and then on came the titles. “Season Two will be on BBC4 this autumn….” intoned the announcer. Aye, that’s as maybe, not in my house it won’t be. What a disgrace. There’s too much of this in the modern world. Filler. Long denouements which never denoue. Imagine the uproar if they’d tried that nonsense with Dixon of Dock Green. Questions would have been asked in the House. The licence fee would have been under attack from the Noble Lords. The Director General hauled over the coals. Proper coal as well, none of those bloody Homefire Ovals. Strewth.
