My topsy-turvy life

Goin' the match

Everton 3 Southampton 1
Job done! It didn't look like it today though as Southampton took the lead and the Blues decided that despite playing football on the floor and getting results with it so far this season, the obvious answer was to kick it high and long to the bouffant Fellaini. Luckily a spell of keep-ball reassured the players and we managed to score 3 goals before half time, and absolute crackers too. It was starting to look like we might get 5 or 6. Predictably, being Everton, the 2nd half was more a tale of frustration and so it stayed 3-1.
3 points and 2nd in the table? Can't complain.

Didn't take many shots at today's game after getting delayed on the motorway so this is an edited shot of people heading up the Bullens Road side of the ground.

After the match Laura and I headed down Birmingham way to see some friends and take in Help!, a -surprisingly decent- Beatles tribute band in their local. Albeit The Beatles if they'd been pigging out a little since the 60s. It was a cracking night and great fun, especially with Dancing Man (if the video gets uploaded to youtube I'll get a link to it) and everyone got more than a little drunk.
Except me, I was driving.
