Sunday Cycle

It was a lovely day for getting outside when my friend A. asked if I wanted to come for a bike ride through the local villages, I jumped at the chance. I've previously only stuck to the main roads and was keen to explore the paths and laneways of Ho Son and Hop Chau.

The rice crops have all been harvested for the year and the paddies are starting to dry up. Water buffalos and cows were tethered out amongst the various different fields, some of the farmers were tending to their patch and happy smiling kids and youngsters were all running around yelling 'hello!' as we rode past. It was a great way to finish off a lovely weekend :)
