At the Beach

We made it to Hainan without any troubles. 6 hours but still a good enough trip.. Once we got here, we checked out the hotel.. It's not so much a hotel as a small apartment.. It has a kitchen and a fridge.. Just what we need to cook our own seafood here and also something to keep the beer cold. Most Chinese hotels don't have a fridge. After that headed straight for the beach. Just short walk and we spotted this man who seems to have covered himself.. He was happy to pose so who was I to argue.

On the walk back to the hotel, we stopped in a a small restaurant for a very nice dinner.. Seafood (some delicious shell fish with potato noodles and garlic) , spiced cabbage and the local specialty of chicken. A few beer to go with it and it really hit the spot. We want to go to a few street seafood markets tomorrow. I also want to investigate what beetlenut is.

When we got back we needed to get a few things so we got some Jackfruit a huge mango and some beer and are set now.. An early night, hopefully.

Sorry if my blips are a little simple over the next few weeks.. Enjoying our vacation is waaaaay more important than posting, so I prolly won't spend too much time on pics unless it's something really good.
