Cake

After we had been to the surgery for my husband’s medicine check and flu jab we went into Bishop’s Stortford where today’s picture was taken. This chocolate cake is delicious, unlike the many dry and unappetising chocolate brownies, masquerading as cake, which Coeliacs are usually served; this one was on another level. We then did some shopping and as Poundland still has twenty-five percent off everything, I purchased some more wool to make even more hats!
   
After a walk around the town, we went back to Café Thyme for lunch, in my case a bacon and avocado sandwich. The two meals should have been eaten the other way round, but were still delicious the way I ate them. I did have black coffee with both of them; the diet resumes tomorrow.
