Tiny Tuesday: Wild Oat (Avena Fatua)

I think I've blipped these every year around this time as they are literally everywhere at the moment. One only has to run the hand tightly up the stem and you have a handful of seeds for photographic purposes ;o)

From a quick look at wiki these plants can be found in just about every country so they could possibly take the cake for being the most successful plant on the planet! :o)
