Loch Ard pier

Bit of a lie in this morning after yesterdays walk. Even Kilda was still tired. Managed to get going for 10.30 and headed over to Loch Ard for a walk. Nice forestry walk again which went around part of the loch before heading into the forest to come out with a great view over the loch for lunch. Headed back down and found a place to park near to the old pier. The locals have a village hall and field just opposite the pier. After speaking to one of the locals earlier, this seemed a nice place for J to go for a swim. Kilda had a brain fart when her float toy came out but was OK when the lead was put back in. She had a great time swimming. The pier was too good an opportunity for a photo. Would be great with some mist over the water. Back for an early tea. Kilda was shattered and very happy we put the bed down early.
